The program of Learning 2021 places a spotlight on the latest innovations in learning. It focuses on the strategic and tactical knowledge and skills needed at all levels, with a clear focus on exploring how learning professionals need to adapt to the changing needs of the organizations. On the second day of the conference, November 9, Greg Groce, Managing Director of Xprtise US together with Dhiren Doshi, Director Global Supply Chain Learning at Colgate Palmolive present how workflow learning increased plant productivity at Colgate-Palmolive.
Xprtise’s session with Colgate-Palmolive
November 09, 2021
3:15 PM - 4:15 PM
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
When Colgate-Palmolive sought to improve support for operators on the plant floor, they turned to a workflow learning solution from Xprtise. Learn from Greg and Dhiren how they introduced The 5 Moments of Need® methodology across a global plant network over four years. This session explores the positive results, from reducing operator search times from minutes to less than thirty seconds; a significant reduction in onboarding training time; and easier, more integrated IT support of workers. We’ll share our approach and best practices we’ve gleaned from this experience.
Dhiren Doshi, Director Global Supply Chain Learning at Colgate Palmolive:
“Workflow Learning presents step by step, process information and video learning in a way that is natural to our employees. Now we can focus differently on how we train operators; they can access Performance Support on the line and in a couple of clicks get information on just the bits they don’t know."
In the session, you will learn:
- How and why to contextualize existing training resources and train only on what is truly critical
- Techniques for promoting social discourse, collaborative learning, and real-time feedback
- The importance of connecting learning to company's key performance indicators
